Dear colleagues,
As it’s Learning at Work Week this week I wanted to make you aware of what UNISON is doing across the region. I thought this may be helpful for you to see what is being offered as I am aware that many employers are happy to promote many of these things.
Learning Survey
Yesterday we emailed every member in the region and asked them to complete a learning survey which will help us identify what they want to learn as well as the barriers. You can see that survey here: https://survey.alchemer.eu/s3/90454162/Learning-at-Work-Week-2022-E-Midlands-Members-survey. We should be able to provide employers with the overall data for their workforce if this is helpful.
Free courses, grants and support
We have set up a ‘Learning at Work Week’ page to try and bring together the different elements of the offer for members (courses, grants and support). You can find that here: http://eastmidlands.unison.org.uk/learningatworkweek/. There is also a downloadable newsletter on this page.
Promoting Learning during the week
As noted above we emailed every member on Monday but we are also out and about across the whole region during the week holding stalls and events. If you have any questions please let me know.
