21/02/2018   Apprenticeships event at NTU on the 7th March

Public Sector: Apprenticeships Work at NTU
Wednesday 7 March, 1 pm - 3.30 pm

There's long been an association with apprenticeships - that only certain businesses and industries stand to benefit from investing in apprentices. However, with the introduction of the mandatory apprenticeship levy, the funding and additional incentive opportunities available to SMEs, and the variety of apprenticeships on offer, more businesses are beginning to realise the potential of apprenticeships.

At NTU we're planning to expand our apprenticeship portfolio further, with the intention of launching courses in areas such as Healthcare Science Practitioner*, Further Education Learning and Skills Teacher*, Healthcare Assistant Practitioner*, Police Constable*, Social Worker*, Registered Nurse*, and Teacher*.

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2018, we'd like to invite you to a free event specially tailored to the needs of those working within the public sector, looking to learn more about how degree apprenticeships can work for their organisations.

This event will explore the relevant apprenticeships on offer and in development at NTU, and offer practical advice and guidance regarding the challenges and opportunities apprenticeships within the public sector present. As well as this, attendees can have one-on-one sessions with academics and members of the apprenticeship team, and network with other employers.

We anticipate this event will be popular, so don't hesitate to book your place
