Our ‘Partnership Working and Networking’ event is coming up on Wednesday 23rd May 2019, at Riseholme College just outside Lincoln! Many thanks to our friends from Bishop Burton College for providing the venue.

The Compact is committed to facilitating partnership working arrangements to help our member organisations tackle issues of common concern and interest relating to workforce development and address the challenges facing the public service sector in an austere environment.  To further develop working relationships between organisations in our network we are facilitating the above ‘speed dating’ event to help you identify opportunities to work with others for mutual benefit. We are delighted that this event will be facilitated by Gail Dunn of Abbey Access Centre in Lincoln as Gail has a proven track record of facilitating similar events for the third sector in Lincolnshire.

The doors will be open from 9:00 am for people looking to grab a coffee and have a quick chat before the event, with the first round of organisational ‘speed dating’ starting at 9:30 am. There will be a quick break for refreshments before the second round of ‘speed dating’ begins, with all this finishing at 11:30 am. We will then have the room for another hour for networking with people you may not have been able to speak to, or people you would like to speak to further over refreshments. We would suggest bringing along some business cards or leaflets (or both) to help with your networking! This is a great chance to find out what is going on elsewhere in the public service sector and to spark and share new ideas.

We are anticipating that the vast majority of our member organisations will attend. To book a place email the Compact facilitator Chris Donkin via chris@donkinitex.co.uk
